Our focus areas and initiatives to create child-friendly cities.
We champion for the belief that a city designed for a 3-year-old is a city designed for everyone. With children making up a significant portion of urban populations today and projected to reach 70% by 2050, we are committed to creating cities where children not only thrive but also grow and learn.

Imagine a city where basic facilities like baby changing stations are readily available, where parents can navigate streets with strollers without hindrance, and where public transport is accessible and children-friendly. Picture neighborhoods dotted with parks, healthcare facilities, and essential services within easy walking or cycling distance.
Safe transport paves the way for brighter futures! We advocate for safe, accessible, inclusive and child-friendly transport systems to ensure every journey—especially to and from school—is secure for children and their caregivers.
We push for policies and infrastructure development that prioritize the mobility needs of children and their caregivers.
Creating Playful Cities – Children learn through play! We work with local communities and governments in creating child-friendly parks and play areas that foster creativity, learning, and social interaction.
School Transport Safety – Working with schools and transport providers to ensure safe journeys for children.
Despite being disproportionately affected by poor sanitation, children under 5 are often overlooked in sanitation programs, including basic toileting needs. This neglect is evident in the absence of baby changing facilities in public spaces, lack of children-friendly toilets in public toilets, unsafe practices like open defecation and inadequate disposal of diapers.
Our program aims to uphold the dignity of children under 5 by ensuring they have access to essential sanitation facilities, meeting their needs and those of their caregivers. Through innovative infrastructure, advocacy, and sustainable practices such as provision of baby changing stations in public toilets and the responsible use of diapers—we create healthier environments where children can grow and thrive while Caring for their planet.
Women bear a disproportionate burden of unpaid care work, including childcare, eldercare, household chores, and other caregiving responsibilities, due to traditional gender roles and societal expectations. This leads to time poverty, limiting women's access to education, employment, and other productive activities, and contributes to economic disadvantages.
Our goal is to relive the childcare burden from the female traders by providing quality and affordable childcare services in market centers enabling them to commit more time to their businesses. Provided in partnership with county governments, our state of the art daycare centers are designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from 6 months of age.
We believe that information is power! At Wow Mom, we empower women with the skills and knowledge they need to achieve economic independence while ensuring the well-being of their children.
